With a new school year (can you believe we're sophomores now!?) comes a new website - improved & ready for action!
Here are MAJOR EVENTS for you to keep in mind:
AUG. 18, Tuesday: 2012 Sophomore Running of the Bulls!
* Paperwork, school photos, student ID, ASB card, & schedule changes
AUG. 18, Tuesday: Jamba Juice Fundraiser!
* Come to Cupertino's Jamba Juice (21265 Stevens Creek Blvd.) from 7am-9pm to enjoy refreshing smoothies & grab some yummy bites to eat. Chill with friends, compare schedules (just walk over from MV!), and soak up the last bit of summer! Present your flier (available at http://sites.google.com/site/mvhs2012/ ) to the register @ your time of purchase, and our class gets 20% of the sales!
AUG. 21, Friday: Gym Jam!
* Deciding our Homecoming theme & class color!
AUG. 24, Monday: First Day of School!
AUG. 24 - AUG. 27: Rally Poster Making @ Lunch & After School
* Come to the Student Center/Gym to support your class in our endeavor to win the rally!
AUG. 27, Thursday: Rally Set-Up Day!
* Come to the Student Center/Gym, because we will be prepping for the rally all day after school (until probably 10:30!)
AUG. 28, Friday: First Rally of the Year!
* Theme: It's Showtime! 2012 Theme: Wicked Dress head-to-toe in PURPLE & GOLD, and refresh your memory on those cheers! (Check out the ____ link, & they're up on Youtube!)
AUG. 28, Friday: First Dance of the Year!
* Bring $10 & your student ID to dance the night away in the Rally Court for a TBA time.
AUG. 29&30, Saturday&Sunday: First Float Building Weekend!
* Float building is an experience you do NOT want to miss, and this year may be the LAST MONTA VISTA HOMECOMING WITH FLOATS. Support your class & have tons of fun at Ryan Chui's house (for what may be the last time!?) on Saturday and Sunday. More info to come!
